Please read these terms carefully before using the KisanPath platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KisanPath ("Platform"), operated by PARUL TRADE (Modipuram, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India โ€“ 250110), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including farmers, buyers, village helpers, field agents, and any other visitors or participants.

2. Platform Description

KisanPath is a farmer-to-buyer digital marketplace that connects farmers, cultivators, and small producers directly with buyers across India. The Platform enables:

4. User Accounts & Registration

4.1 Farmers

Farmers register using their mobile number and may provide Aadhaar/Government ID, farm location, farm size, crop types, certifications, and profile details. Farmers are responsible for the accuracy of their product listings including product name, quantity, price, harvest date, quality grade, and images.

4.2 Buyers

Buyers register with their mobile number, location, and buyer type (household, retailer, restaurant, wholesaler, or processing company). Buyers are responsible for verifying products before completing a purchase.

4.3 Village Helpers

Village helpers may manage multiple farmer accounts to assist with listing crops, uploading photos, managing orders, and handling payments. Helpers are responsible for acting in the best interest of the farmers they assist.

4.4 Field Agents

Field agents are authorized representatives who onboard farmers, verify documents, assist with initial crop listings, and geo-tag farms. Agents must follow platform guidelines for verification procedures.

5. Platform Use โ€“ Free for Farmers

The KisanPath platform is completely free for farmers. No listing fees, no subscription charges, and no commission in the early stages.

We reserve the right to introduce service fees for buyers, premium features, or logistics services in the future, with advance notice to users.

6. Product Listings & Transactions

6.1 Listing Accuracy

Farmers must ensure that all product listings are accurate, truthful, and not misleading. Listings must include correct product name, category, quantity, expected price, harvest date, quality grade, organic status, and pickup location.

6.2 Pickup Model

The Platform currently operates on a pickup model. Buyers collect products directly from the farmer's farm, home, or warehouse. Delivery services may be introduced in future phases.

6.3 Direct Negotiation

Buyers and farmers may negotiate prices and terms directly through in-app chat. The final agreed terms are binding between the buyer and farmer.

6.4 Pre-Inspection

Buyers may request to visit the farm and inspect products before completing a purchase. Farmers are encouraged to accommodate reasonable inspection requests.

7. Payments

7.1 Payment Methods

The Platform supports payments via UPI, bank transfer, payment gateway (Razorpay), and cash on pickup. The choice of payment method is agreed upon between the buyer and farmer.

7.2 Escrow System

For eligible transactions, buyer payments may be held in escrow. Funds are released to the farmer only after pickup confirmation and buyer satisfaction. This protects both parties from fraud.

7.3 Payment Disputes

In case of payment disputes, users should contact our support team. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes fairly through our admin dispute resolution process.

8. Trust & Verification

8.1 Progressive Verification

Sellers undergo progressive verification:

  1. Level 1: Mobile number verification
  2. Level 2: Government ID verification
  3. Level 3: Farm location verification
  4. Level 4: Organic certification verification

Verified badges are displayed on seller profiles to indicate their verification level.

8.2 QR Farm Verification

Each verified farm receives a unique QR identity code. Buyers can scan this code during farm visits to confirm authenticity.

8.3 Dual Rating System

Both farmers and buyers rate each other after transactions. Ratings cover quality, honesty, payment reliability, and respectfulness. Ratings must be honest and fair. Fraudulent or retaliatory ratings may be removed.

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or permanent ban.

10. AI Fraud Monitoring

KisanPath uses artificial intelligence to monitor the Platform for fraudulent activities including fake listings, suspicious accounts, unusual price manipulation, and repeated complaints. AI-flagged accounts may be subject to review, suspension, or termination.

11. Seasonal Crop Scheduling & Pre-Booking

Farmers may schedule upcoming harvests and buyers may pre-book crops before harvest. Pre-bookings represent a commitment between buyer and farmer. However, agricultural products are subject to natural variability, and neither KisanPath nor the farmer guarantees exact quantities or timelines for seasonal bookings.

12. Smart Pricing Assistance

The Platform provides pricing information based on mandi prices, regional market rates, and demand trends. AI-recommended prices are suggestions only. Farmers retain full control over their pricing decisions.

13. Intellectual Property

The KisanPath name, logo, design, app interface, and all associated content are the intellectual property of PARUL TRADE. Users may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any Platform content without written permission.

By uploading photos, videos, or content to the Platform, you grant KisanPath a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the Platform for the purpose of product listings and promotion.

14. Limitation of Liability

15. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between users, KisanPath's admin team will attempt to mediate and resolve the issue. If resolution is not possible through the Platform, disputes shall be governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

16. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, receives multiple complaints, or poses a risk to other users or the Platform. Users may also request voluntary account deletion by contacting support.

17. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Users will be notified of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India.
